I asked Jess to edit an article of mine, one that was quite dense, contained a lot of opinion, and referenced a very wide set of literature and sources. I asked because I thought it could read better if edited by a professional, and I could better get my message across. I thought she did an excellent job in improving the piece – it read much better, in particular had greater flow and readability following her adjustments. Jess is courteous, respectful, interested and enthusiastic in her work, and highly skilled at what she does. She had the right balance of knowing when to correct things to read better, versus come back to me with queries on what I had intended to say.
