The editorial challenge for this 352-page title, published in 2012, was to adapt a trivia book from Reader’s Digest USA for Australia and New Zealand. I had to remove much of the US-centric content and all of the US English and replace it with appropriate content. I repurposed trivia from Reader’s Digest Magazine, worked with a consultant to check the existing questions and answers for accuracy (a daunting task in itself!) and write new material. This was the sort of book that made you go cross-eyed when proofreading but was nonetheless satisfying.
