Academic editing

HIS_slipcase_endBelow is a selection of the doctoral theses and journal articles that I have edited. My main focus for academic editing is the humanities and design, along with nursing, psychology, tourism, urban design and related fields.

With a piece of academic work, such as a thesis, it’s important to remember the strictures relating to the editing process – the editor’s role is limited to copyediting or proofreading as opposed to structural editing or commenting on the content of your work. For what to expect from the editing process, please see IPEd’s excellent guidelines on engaging an editor for your thesis.
