A lifelong dog lover and owner of a slowly ageing staffy, I must be a bit of a soft touch when it comes to books about pets. The marked-up pages for these titles were accompanied by the odd dried tear or two. This has to be the hallmark of a good pet story.

In this pack are two narrative non-fiction books, Bono and Fearless, and two photographic books, Van Cat Meow and For the Love of Greyhounds. In Van Cat Meow, I was engaged to storyboard the book using the wealth of images supplied by the author/photographer, Richard East, as well as copyedit the text so that the two worked seamlessly together.
