What a great project to be involved in! ABC books engaged me to copyedit the manuscript for this book, written by the indefatigable Natalie Isaacs, and offer some suggestions for the graphic treatment of the pages. The book is black and white, so needed some clever ideas for using greyscale to bring the layouts to life. The designer did a great job with this book – the layout is bold and striking, just like the author.

I’m particularly pleased that a comment I wrote in the margins, about what it’s like to live with off-grid solar, now features on p.184 🙂
